Dates: July 20, 2024 (Saturday) - August 5, 2024 (Monday)
Time: 11:00 - 20:00
Location: Bunkamura Gallery 8/
Price: Free admission
Natsumi Tomita is a contemporary artist who skillfully combines everyday items and household appliances that have been used for a long time to create adorable creatures. Her regular solo exhibitions attract many fans of all ages and genders, who adore her expressive works.

She has been creating works for nearly 20 years, from her student days to the present. Recently, she has been incorporating unusual materials and waste materials unique to the region or companies into her works, and her expression and technique have been improving in quality year by year. In addition, by sincerely understanding and sublimating the stories and feelings associated with each piece of waste material that she has received from individuals, her works have become more expressive.

This exhibition, which will be held for the fifth time at Bunkamura, is titled "WONDER CIRCUS" and, in keeping with the theme, the venue has been transformed into a circus tent, with a variety of unique troupes, including monkeys, elephants, lions, and mother and baby bears, waiting for you to come and see.
Please enjoy the wonder circus performed by animals that have been generously poured into them with love from their owners and makers.
