Turning ideas into businesses through collaboration with universities as a learning field

Source: Peatix

Starting in 2023, Shinshu University launched the Think Local Achademy, which values encounters with questions that arise from one's own intuition.
This is a course in which students will deepen their own questions and implement projects together with a dedicated team that matches the efforts of university laboratories.
This time, an Open Day will be held in Tokyo prior to the course.

We will invite guests who are front-runners in new business ventures to hold talk sessions on topics such as how industry-academia collaboration that utilizes one's own ideas begins, how to formulate questions, and how to turn them into a business.

How do we find partners for co-creation?
How can we create connections that transcend organizational boundaries? Many companies have begun to create platforms for co-creation, and open innovation systems are being established. The term "industry-academia collaboration" has become more and more common, but it can be difficult to come across a field that interests you by chance in a specialized research lab like a university.

In order to better match laboratories and companies, a networking event will also be held at the venue with the attendance of a dedicated team from Shinshu University.
Whether you have already started a new business or are looking to start something new, please feel free to contact us.
