Hello! I'm Mashikomyu from the official community of Mashiko Town, Tochigi Prefecture.

The theme of this event is "Life and Daily Life in Mashiko Town."
As a new initiative of Mashikomyu, we have launched a project called Mashiko Connection, in which Mashiko Town and participants work together to think about and create a "rich lifestyle and daily life."
In the future, we plan to provide information and hold events based on themes that interest people living in the city center.

This first Mashiko Connection event will be held in two parts.
In the first part, in order to give people an insight into everyday life in Mashiko Town as a whole, we will welcome local guest speaker Misato Nihira, who left an IT company in Tokyo to take over her family's orchard, and she will speak openly in a dialogue format about the attractions and challenges of living in Mashiko Town.

■Nihei Orchard

A 30-year-old orchard in Mashiko Town, Tochigi Prefecture.
The pears are grown while listening to Mozart, and delicious pears are carefully cultivated in the great outdoors.

In the second part, we will look back on our daily lives after the first part and think about how to make our daily lives better.
We plan to have participants do group work while communicating with each other.
* Support staff such as the town hall's migration department will be assigned to each table.

I would be happy if you could expand your knowledge of things you want to know and try related to daily life in Mashiko Town.
(Example) I want to know about the daily life of a potter, or I want to know about the daily life of a shop that uses daylight saving time, etc.
