This event will enable projects that have completed the GARAGE Program, an acceleration program that promotes projects by young leaders who will shape the next 100 years, to widely share the "experiments for the future" that they have been working on through trial and error.

There will also be a talk by a senior project leader who has expanded and grown their project after taking on the challenge of 100BANCH.

This time, the navigator will be Hiroki Mitani (CEO of Nanometer Architecture Inc., a first-class architectural firm) from the "SHIMA Doctor Project," a first-term GARAGE Program student who comes from a variety of backgrounds and continues to tackle architecture and construction by breaking down stereotypes to the nano size, and projects that have completed the GARAGE Program will report on their activities.

Hiroki Mitani | Nanometer Architecture Inc., Co-founder of First Class Architectural Office
Born in Osaka Prefecture in 1985. Graduated from the Graduate School of Engineering, Mie University, majoring in architecture in 2013. Worked in the facility maintenance team of the university's facilities department and at the SUPPOSE DESIGN OFFICE before assuming his current position. Architect for Aichi International Art Festival 2022 and 2025.
Major awards include being selected as the outstanding proposal for the design of rest areas and other facilities at the 2022 World Expo in Japan, and the 5th Japan Architectural Design Institute Award in 2024.

Mitani moved into 100BANCH in July 2017. He created a model of a beach house as a "medical support and exchange center," aiming to solve the problem of local medical care in Shima City, Mie Prefecture, where there is a shortage of medical personnel, by taking an approach based on place and space. Since then, he has continued to think about creating pleasant spaces from an architectural perspective, from the design of houses, stores, and commercial facilities to the design of furniture and fixtures, and has also been scheduled to exhibit at the Osaka-Kansai Expo 2025.
