SHIBUYA MIYASHITA PARK BON DANCE 2024: the Bon Odori dance that concludes Shibuya's summer

Music + Fashion + Dance + Art

The Bon Odori event "SHIBUYA MIYASHITA PARK BON DANCE 2024" will be held on Saturday, September 21st and Sunday, September 22nd, 2024 at the Shibuya Ward Miyashita Park Lawn Square on the 4th floor of MIYASHITA PARK. The event is sponsored by the Meiji Dori Miyashita Park Merchants Association.

Last year, the Bon Odori event was held for the first time, aiming to fuse Shibuya culture with traditional Japanese festivals and promote "music + fashion + dance + art". Through the holding of the traditional Japanese culture of "festivals", local Shibuya people were able to interact with each other, and visitors and foreign tourists mixed together, making it a very lively place to promote the charm of the city of Shibuya to more people. This year, the second time the event has been held, the period has been extended to two days, and various programs related to dance, music, and fashion will be held under the theme of "festivals" that anyone can enjoy.

A stage will be set up in the center of the venue, and a festival-like production will be created that will make anyone want to dance, regardless of genre, with DJs playing dance music and live performances. In addition, music bars, clubs, DJ bars, and other stores related to music in Shibuya will gather around Miyashita Park, offering unique drinks and food. There will also be a tent market set up, so that everyone from children to adults can have fun.
