A meetup to connect with friends based on love for your hometown [Super Local Festival 2024]
In a typical trip or business trip, the destination town is a "place to visit," but when it comes to your hometown, it is a "place to return to." A hometown is a place filled with memories, and a special place that can even become part of your identity. The relationship between a town that feels like your hometown and its people has the potential to develop a long-lasting, deep relationship that will not be easily severed.
The Super Homecoming Association defines a hometown as "a region with memories and feelings." This event is based on the motto "You can create a hometown you love." It is a meetup event where people who enjoy, are involved in, create, and develop their hometowns gather to imagine the future relationship between towns and people. We will work with companies and guests who have a strong affinity with the Super Homecoming initiative and concept to liven up the event.
On the day, we will have guest talk events, booth exhibits, and social time to create an opportunity for participants to connect with local people and discover hints for their future lives and work.
Please join us!

|What is Super Homecoming?
Super homecoming = returning to a friend's hometown
This is not a normal homecoming, nor is it a tourist trip. This project advocates "the experience of enjoying a friend's hometown as if it were your own (=super homecoming)" as a new local experience that replaces travel.
It is because there are people who have trust in the local community that the local area feels closer to them and creates a sense of empathy as it is similar to your own hometown.
We aim to create a "trust population" that is deeper than the relationship population, lowers the barriers to entry into the community because they are trustworthy people, wants to be continuously involved, and develops an attachment to the town, saying "I love this town!"
