Have fun talking to a variety of people!
The event will be held at Shibuya-san, located on the first floor of Shibuya Fukuras (Tokyu Plaza Shibuya), 3 minutes from the west exit of Shibuya JR Station!
Groups are small, with 3/4 people, and the first 30 minutes are spent in English and the last 30 minutes in Japanese.
If you're worried about not knowing what to talk about, don't worry. There are theme cards available, so you'll never be stuck for topics to talk about.

This event is open to everyone regardless of age or nationality. Anyone who wants to speak English or Japanese can come and join.
Participation is open to all levels. Shibuya-san staff will be happy to assist you if you need help, so please feel free to apply!

If you feel like "one hour just isn't enough," you can stay until 8 p.m., so come and have fun with people you get along with.

"Shibuya-san Tourist Information & Art Center" is located 3 minutes from the west exit of Shibuya JR Station, on the first floor of Shibuya Fukuras.
The shop has a tourist information centre, exhibitions and events, a bar and free space (where you can work or relax! ^^).
All of the staff are foreigners and are very knowledgeable about Shibuya!
At Shibuya-san, people of all nationalities, skin colors, genders, etc. can meet and have a good time together.
We support international exchange and friendship.

To ensure that all participants can enjoy themselves, we may decline reservations from the following customers:
○ Last-minute cancellations (not showing up without contacting us)

Let's practice English and/or Japanese in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, 5 minutes away from Shibuya station!
You will have 30 minutes of ONLY English time and 30 minutes of ONLY Japanese time to talk in small groups of 3-4 people. Don't worry that you might not have anything to talk about, we have topic cards you can use. Participants will be of different ages and nationalities, but all with the same goal of improving their language skills and getting to know new people. So feel free to join, regardless of your level! Our staff will be there to help if needed.

1 hour is not enough? Feel free to stay until 20:00 to talk to the people you enjoyed chatting with.

"Shibuya-san Tourist Information & Art Center", located on the 1st floor of Shibuya Fukuras, in front of JR Shibuya Station's west exit. We have exhibitions, space to chat/work/relax (with free WiFi and plugs), events, workshops and a bar. Our international staff knows Shibuya very well and can recommend nice spots for any mood. It's a place where people, regardless of nationality, skin color, gender etc. can have a good time together. We promote intercultural exchange and international friendship! :)
