MYOKO MEET UP #2 Communicating about the local area from a personal perspective. LOCAL STREET delivers the future of Myoko.
Talk and networking events for people interested in local life and work
Source: Peatix
"I'm looking for ways to get involved in the local community." "I'm interested in the local community and would like to learn about local jobs." "I'm considering living in the local community in my own way."
We will be holding talk events and networking events for anyone interested in local life and work.
Guests who are challenging themselves with "new and interesting things" in Myoko City, Niigata Prefecture, and people who want to contribute to the community will talk about the future of Myoko City.
In addition, we will also introduce the Marche event in the second half of the event.
-----------------
Guest: Takakura Ryuga
Born in Myoko City, Niigata Prefecture in February 2002, he lived comfortably in his hometown until he was 18, then moved to Tokyo to attend university. However, the impact of COVID-19 hit him right away, making university life boring. He took a leave of absence in his fourth year of university, worked as a staff member at a guesthouse in Shizuoka Prefecture, and attended a vocational school for graphic design, which led to his interest in local areas and design.
After graduating from university in March 2025, he temporarily returned to Myoko City.
Currently, with the aim of becoming a designer rooted in the local community, he is working experimentally and practically on various projects in collaboration with local people and those from the local area.

When thinking about how you will live and work in the future, learning about how people live and work in other regions will broaden your life options. Also, while living in the city center, you can be involved with your hometown, the city where you spent your student days, the city you fell in love with at first sight while traveling, or the city you would like to live in someday. Utilizing your skills in the community. I also feel that more and more people are looking to be involved with the community, not just in the way they work.
This is an event where you can meet guests who are challenging themselves to do "new and interesting things" that will be active in Myoko in the future.
We look forward to seeing many of you there.
