Straight from the Heart

Bunkamura has launched the "BiG-i x Bunkamura Art Project" in collaboration with Big-I, an international communication center for people with disabilities, and is calling for submissions for the first round of artworks created by people with disabilities.

In order to help students discover their potential and realize their potential, we will provide them with an opportunity to participate in art activities, and will hold the first exhibition of award-winning and selected works as a venue for presenting their works.

From over 1,400 entries received from Japan and overseas, a panel of four judges active in various fields, including Big Eye International Center for Disabled People and Bunkamura, selected the works that radiate strong and beautiful energy.

[Gallery Tour]
We will welcome Hiroaki Nakatsugawa as our guide and hold a gallery tour to view the works. We will answer your questions, share our impressions, and bring together various perspectives to explore the background of the award-winning and selected works and the appeal of their expression.

【workshop】
Let's all draw a big picture together - My Yokai World - Let's draw an original yokai as your imagination soars on a large 3m square canvas spread across the entire venue. Use a variety of art materials to create your own yokai world together. Once you've finished, you can cut out a part of the work and take it home. Anyone is welcome to join.
*You can cut out your artwork and take it home after 5pm.
