Ahead of Designship 2024, which is scheduled to be held in October, 16 designers will gather to share cutting-edge knowledge and practical examples around four main themes: generative AI, design systems, design management, and art direction.
This event will feature a wide range of discussions, from the future of design through innovations in generative AI, to building design systems that improve user experience, new trends in effective design management, and the practice of spatial design and art direction.
In each session, we will discuss design possibilities with concrete examples.

He is a member of the company's DESIGN & CREATIVE TEAM and is involved in the production of "WHITE PAPER ON DESIGN 2024." In addition, he is involved in research and consulting on urban development from the initial stage to commercialization, such as formulating concepts for the development and operation of facilities that attract visitors and local hubs, and supporting public-private partnerships. He graduated from the Department of Environmental Design at Tama Art University and completed graduate studies at the University of Manchester in the UK. He received the 2021 Steacy-Greenaway Prize for the Outstanding MArch Portfolio from the same graduate school.

He was selected as one of ADAGE's "Creators the World Should Know" and won the SXSW Interactive Awards. He has won numerous awards in the fields of tech, art, and advertising, including Cannes Lions and the Agency for Cultural Affairs' Japan Media Arts Festival. He is a lecturer and contributor to Forbes, Nikkei Cross Trend, Sendenkaigi, Singapore Management University, Mobile Marketing Forum, etc.

From 2021, as CPO of Kochi University School of Medicine/BiPSEE Inc., he is in charge of the overall development of VR treatment products for depression, aiming for Japan's first pharmaceutical approval of VR digital therapy (XRDTx). In 2023, he led the development of "War Damage VR" at the University of Tokyo Graduate School. He is involved in joint projects related to the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's design promotion measures, such as the "Design White Paper."

Graduated from Central St. Martins, University of the Arts London. After working at Panasonic Design Company and PDD Innovations UK, he was involved in the launch of IDEO Tokyo as design director. He then served as Head of Design at BCG Digital Ventures before assuming his current position. He has been involved in numerous innovation projects. He has served as a judge for the D&AD and Good Design Awards, as well as design selections across the country. Recent publications include "HELLO, DESIGN: Japanese and Design" (Gentosha).

Shunsuke Satake
Born in Osaka Prefecture. After working as a graphic designer at an advertising production company, he became a freelance illustrator. His main work is creating illustrations and characters for use in advertisements and books, mainly with motifs of people and animals. His specialties are child-rearing and education. He won the Good Design Award in 2014 and 2017. He appeared at AdobeMAX. He has published a collection of his work, "PRESENT" and "iPad App Adobe Fresco Illustration Techniques" (both published by Genkosha). He has also published many picture books overseas. His representative works include "Ganbarappa Ganbarun" on NHK Okaasan to Issho, the AGF Marim packaging, and "Oshaberi Shuppo" for Benesse Kodomo Challenge.
