Udon Mixed Martial Arts "TEUCHI" Masters ~ Handmade Udon Master No.1 Championship

Serious Handmade Udon Live Battle

Source: Peatix

It's a serious live battle of hand-made udon, where the winner is the one who can move people's hearts the most with their hand-made udon. To participate in the Masters, you must be a udon shop owner. Whereas previous tournaments have focused on the "udon itself," this time the spotlight is on the "people" through the means of live commentary, DJing, and other gimmicks to liven up the venue, and the act of hand-making the udon. There is drama and struggle, and the hand-made udon enthusiasts get to express themselves through udon.

Come experience the TEUCHI Udon Battle unfolding on stage with all five senses: sight, hearing, smell, touch, and taste!

Opening time 18:30

Start time 19:00

■ Intention of the project
Spreading the hand-made culture.

I want more people to know about the amazingness, fun, and diversity of handmade udon.

In the first and second events, we have created an opportunity for people other than store owners to shine, but this time it will be limited to store owners.

How many skilled craftsmen are there in Japan when it comes to technique and taste? What would happen if those craftsmen were to seriously compete with each other? I'm sure some of you who have watched TEUCHI so far have had such thoughts.

So, who is the No. 1 active hand-made udon craftsman?

It's good to learn from each other in a friendly manner, but there are some things that can only be seen when you seriously clash with each other.

I hope to make this a tournament where the players can learn new skills from each other and improve each other's skills, and where the level of all udon makers, including those who are not restaurant owners, can be raised even further.

We hope that visitors will enjoy this celebration of the finest craftsmen who have dedicated their efforts to making udon.

■ Tournament Rules
The contestants compete to make, boil, and serve udon noodles within a certain time limit. The general rules are as follows:

Bring one or more pieces of dough and hand-make the noodles within 15 minutes.
3 people start at the same time x 2 sets = 6 people total Battle Royale
He will boil the noodles himself and serve them to 50 visitors, who will get to try them.
All attendees will vote for two players.
The player with the most votes wins
