The Japan Dam Awards will look back on the achievements of dams in 2024, with an executive committee of volunteer dam fans nominating dams that have made outstanding contributions from various perspectives.
The organizing committee and the audience at the venue voted to select the dam that made the most impressive contribution in each category this year, and to celebrate its achievements! This is the "Dam version of the Academy Awards" for dam lovers, by dam lovers, and this year marks the 12th year of the event!

This year again, dams across Japan will be required to experiment with different areas to deal with weather, disasters, and global abnormal weather.
