Let's play with Mof-Mof sensors! Non-techies welcome, idea-making experience session @ Shibuya QWS
Sensors are actually a technology that is very familiar to us.
When people approach, the lights come on, and when they hold their hands over it, water comes out.
This is supported by sensors that detect "distance" and "movement."

Using sensors may provide new solutions to small inconveniences in everyday life or things you wish you had.

In this workshop, we will develop ideas based on the fluffy softness that can be measured using **TDK's ultrasonic sensor module "Mof-Mof"**.
Would you like to join us and experience the mysterious world of "Mof-Mof," which reacts to touch and can measure distance and movement?

No need to be a technology expert! This is a co-creation workshop that anyone can easily participate in, from students, startups, creators, office workers, and even those who are just "intrigued."

Event content
1. Touch and experience TDK's latest sensor module "Mof-Mof"

See, touch, and operate the sensors developed by TDK engineers.
You can experience not only how the sensor works, but also how flexible it can be used.

2. Ideation Workshop

How can we use sensors to make things more convenient and fun?
"Mof-Mof," developed by TDK engineers, is a sensor that detects softness using ultrasound.
By combining it with light, sound, and motors, you can create reactions that are almost like living things.
You can experience the "world of sensors" by actually touching, moving, and trying them out. You can also draw sketches and give shape to your ideas.

The access route is different from the commercial floors (shops, restaurants, etc.) and the rooftop observation deck (SHIBUYA SKY).
Please enter through the office entrance on the 2nd basement floor or the 2nd floor above ground and take the elevator to the 15th floor.
