Tenoha Daikanyama, which opened in front of Daikanyama Station last fall and is home to the circular economy initiative CIRTY, will be holding the sixth volume of the CIRTY SKOLE talk event, where you can learn about the circular economy in a casual and fun atmosphere.

Our sixth guest will be eri, the representative and activist of DEPT Company, and Hirokazu and Yoko Suemitsu of SUEP., the environmental architecture firm behind TENOHA Daikanyama. On the day, we will explore sustainable ways of living that can be realized in cities from two perspectives: eri's "perspective on living," who practices a minimalist lifestyle while also taking part in civic activities to address social issues, and SUEP.'s environmental architecture, which has been designed around the theme of "coexistence with nature."

Anyone can participate in this event. We welcome anyone who is interested in the circular economy, who wants to live a life with less environmental impact, who is interested in architecture with less of an environmental impact, who wants to be involved in sustainable work at a company, or who wants to be in charge of new business ventures at a company and strengthen their creative thinking.

Sayaka Yokoyama

In charge of event planning at CIRTY. While attending the Integrative Nutrition Institute (IIN) online in New York, he encountered the idea of "Blue Zones," a study of areas around the world that are said to be healthy and long-lived. Influenced by the idea that in order to live a long and healthy life, not only food and exercise are important, but also a sense of belonging to a community and a cityscape that makes you want to walk naturally are important, he will enter the field of urban development in October 2022. After working on the renewal of Trainchi Jiyugaoka and the limited-time project "Komazawa MOAI FARM" in front of Komazawa Daigaku Station, he will participate in the management of CIRTY as a member of RGB Inc. from November 2023. He has a strong interest in people's spontaneity and involvement.

<About each business>
CIRTY
It is a general term for an organization that is centered on a real place where people, things, and ideas related to circularity gather, and on information dissemination media. It is a coined word that combines "CIRCULAR," "CITY," "COMMUNITY," and "2030," and practices circular community activities based at Tenoha Daikanyama. We will foster a circular community from familiar experiences in everyday life.
