Our guest this time is Senda Shingo, president of Sanfrecce Hiroshima, a club in the Meiji Yasuda J1 League. The Edion Peace Wing Hiroshima stadium, which opened in February this year, continues to be fully booked for every match, and the team is currently in second place in the league and fighting for the championship. Shingo Senda
Born on March 17, 1955, in Kamigemachi, Fuchu City, Hiroshima Prefecture. After graduating from Hiroshima Motomachi High School and the Faculty of Law at Chuo University, he joined Chugoku Broadcasting Co., Ltd. He worked as a photojournalist, a reporter at the Kure branch office, in sales at the head office, and at the Tokyo branch office, before overseeing radio, television, and business as a director and managing director. He has a deep connection with soccer, having organized the TV program "Weekly Sanfrecce" since the first year of the J.League, as well as the public viewing of the Japan Championship final after the team won the first half of the season in 1994. He has been the president and representative director of Sanfrecce Hiroshima Co., Ltd. since January 2020.
