Shibuya Dreams Come True Theater opens as a cultural hub for film screenings and events
On April 11th, a special tent-shaped theater called "Shibuya Dreams Come True Theater (SHIBUYA DREAMS COME TRUE THEATER supported by Page30)" opened in the event space "Shibusan Square" located behind Shibuya Police Station along Roppongi Street in Shibuya 3-chome.

The theater, which was realized with the full cooperation of the music unit "DREAMS COME TRUE," which is celebrating its 35th anniversary since its debut, will be a limited-time spot that will promote a variety of cultures, including movies, music, theater, dance, fashion, and food. Various events will be held at the theater in the future, including the screening of the new movie "Page 30," for which the band's bassist, Masato Nakamura, is the executive producer.
The theater, a "large black tent" measuring 12 x 15m and 6.9m high, is equipped with full-fledged audio-visual equipment, including 5.1ch sound and a 250-inch screen (5,740 x 3,320mm). The theater's floor and seats are covered with artificial turf and are fitted with flat seats furnished with cushions, creating a comfortable screening space.
The opening film, "Page 30," is directed by Tsutsumi Yukihiko and stars Erika Karata, Mari Hayashida, Shiba Hiroyama, and MAAKIII. The film is a documentary-style portrayal of four actresses who learn a 30-page script in three days and take on a complex stage play on the fourth day. In a lawless zone without a director or supervisor, the plays that bet their acting careers collide, exposing the true nature of human beings.
Food trucks set up in front of the tent
In addition to the movie screenings, a food area will be set up in front of the tent, offering standard menu items such as hot dogs, nachos, and popcorn, as well as "dream meals" such as steak bento and yakitori in collaboration with "Ikinari Steak," and alcohol. Any items purchased in the food area can be brought into the tent, so you can enjoy food while watching a movie.
The lyrics of Miwa Yoshida's new song are displayed at the top of the tent.
The tent design incorporates parts of the lyrics of DREAMS COME TRUE's new song "Owari no Uta," written by Yoshida Miwa, creating a scene that stirs the dreams and emotions of those who visit.
The theater, which was created with the idea of "making it a place where dreams begin and come true," is deeply connected to the journey of DREAMS COME TRUE. Yoshida lived near Dogenzaka-kami when he first came to Tokyo, and Nakamura graduated from Aoyama Gakuin University. Shibuya is a special place filled with many memories for the two of them. As the number of attendees increased, the venues for their live shows gradually became larger, from the live house "TAKE OFF 7" where they first stood on stage, to "Shibuya Club Quattro" where they held their debut live show, to the former Shibuya Public Hall and NHK Hall, which they had always admired, to Yoyogi National Gymnasium No. 1. Their trajectory symbolizes the journey of the band, which has grown in sync with the city of Shibuya, as if embodying the "hill climb up Koen-dori."
The tent will remain up until September after the film screening ends in June, and will also be used as a place for people with dreams to express themselves through fashion shows and student film screenings. Although it will only be for a limited time, it is likely to attract attention as a new hub for the culture that colors Shibuya.
