Is remote work and tangerine picking compatible?
We will be holding a planning workshop for a Makopon Workation, with guest Suzuki Takahiro, CEO and CTO of Dot LLC, the originator of the "Tangerine Picking Workation" idea, which was conceived at the "JAL Hometown Working Holiday" held last November, to discuss the possibilities of this idea.

The reason why workcation is attracting attention is that it aims to reduce stress and increase productivity for employees by combining work and vacation. In an era where remote work is becoming more common and flexible working styles are required, it makes it easier to balance work and private life, and provides an opportunity to refresh even in situations where it is difficult to take long vacations.

This time, we will start with an input session where we will introduce the charms of Ohara Orchard Firm, the main stage for workcation, and hear the impressions of Mr. Suzuki of Dot LLC, who actually worked remotely picking mandarin oranges. Mr. Mikumo of the Nakatsu Yabakei Tourism Association will introduce popular tourist spots in and around Nakatsu.

Participants will be asked to plan two types of workations: a "refreshing" type and a "leadership development" type, based on the information obtained in the "Input Session."

We would like to come up with an attractive plan, realize a Makopon workation, and through workation, spread the appeal of Makopon, Nakatsu, and mandarin orange cultivation throughout the country.

The workcation is scheduled to run from November to the end of February. We look forward to your participation.
