Autumn is a season full of festivals and outdoor festivals. In Shibuya, the 19th Shibuya Music Festival 2024 ~ Shibuya Music Scramble ~ will be held for two days on Saturday, October 19th and Sunday, October 20th, 2024, in front of SHIBUYA109, Bunkamura-dori, and other areas around Shibuya Station.

Traffic restrictions will be in place on the day, and the streets around Shibuya Station will be used as stages. Details of each event are provided below.

SHIBUYA PLAYGROUND - Street Sports x Music

A street sports x music event will be held on the special stage in front of SHIBUYA109. Top athletes from breaking and double dutch will be invited to perform ciphers (a dance format where people form a circle around each other) and showcases on the streets of Shibuya. Ami, who won a gold medal at the Paris Olympics this summer, will also perform in breaking.

Dougenzaka Block Party - Tap and DJ collaboration

A local music event hosted by the Shibuya Dogenzaka Youth Association will be held on the stage in front of the Dogenzaka Center Building. DJ MOCHIZUKI (in the mix) and tap dancers SARO and COCO will perform, and the three artists will put on a performance. Why not experience the appeal of tap dancing, a dance that can make sound?

Shibuya Zunchaka - Dogenzaka Street Musician Liberation Zone

We will be holding "Dogenzaka Street Musician Liberation Zone," where anyone can come together through the same music, regardless of their age, nationality, or disability, even if they are not familiar with music or can't play an instrument.

Fashion show "SHIBUYA RUNWAY" - Red carpet appears on Bunkamura Street

The main event of Shibuya Fashion Week, which will be held for the 22nd time this fall, the street fashion show "SHIBUYA RUNWAY" will be held on Sunday, October 20th at Shibuya Bunkamura-dori. In the first part, "THE INCUBATION", students from five fashion schools will try their hand at upcycling and present their work. In the second part, "THE VINTAGE", with the theme of "Connecting and Passing On Feelings", celebrities such as TV personality MEGUMI and Wednesday Campanella's Utaha will combine their favorite personal items with vintage items and restyle them on stage.

Metro Cultural Foundation "Station Concert in Shibuya" - Powerful live performances at the station

A "Station Concert" will be held for two days on the 19th and 20th at TOKYU CORPORATION and Tokyo Metro Co.,Ltd. Shibuya Station B1 exit. On the 19th, the saxophone band "Five by Five," made up of members of Tokyo University of the Arts, will perform, and on the 20th, the woodwind quintet "London Point," which produces gorgeous tones, will perform live music in the station space.

Shibuya Modi Collaboration Event "SHIBUYA MODI MUSIC FES." - Mini Live & Special Event

Artists including the idol group "Rough x Rough", produced by TV producer Nobuyuki Sakuma, and the boy band XY, selected through an audition program produced by YOSHIKI, will gather at the Shibuya Modi 1st floor storefront plaza to perform mini-live shows.
