An event to consider the future of Shibuya, "SHIBUYA INBOUND CONFERENCE - The future of Shibuya changing due to inbound demand" will be held at SHIBUYA QWS on November 18, 2024.

CGO.com, known for its Gal-style brainstorming, and design firm ADDReC have launched a research project called "Shibuya Inbound Lab" to investigate the current state of inbound tourism and market trends, focusing on Shibuya, and to consider future possibilities. They are collaborating with startups and companies with strengths in "Shibuya," "inbound tourism," and "Generation Z," to investigate signs of change based on inbound trends in Shibuya, and are working on new content development, space production, new business development, and more.

The "SHIBUYA INBOUND CONFERENCE" will be a forum for discussing "signs of change in the city due to inbound tourism" with various users, related companies, and stakeholders, and using gal-style brainstorming to advance positive discussions about the future of the city of Shibuya. At the first event to be held this time, we will share the potential needs and realities of inbound tourists discovered in a research project set in Shibuya, as well as the market potential, and discuss how the city of Shibuya will change in the future due to the rapidly expanding inbound demand. We will discuss the transformation of the city of Shibuya due to inbound demand by thinking together with various users, related companies, and stakeholders, and using gal-style brainstorming.

On the day, there will be a research report from CGO.com's president, Bubbly, a presentation from ADDReC's Fukushima Taiga on Shibuya's urban development and inbound tourism, and a presentation from Shibuya Ward Councillor Hashimoto Yuki on Shibuya Ward and inbound tourism policy. There will also be a gal-style brainstorming session and networking session on the theme of "Imagining the future of Shibuya x inbound tourism."
