Tokyo Culture Culture's super popular entertainment event "Japanese Dictionary Night" and dictionary publisher Sanseido's annual "Sanseido Dictionary Editors' Choice New Words of the Year" selection presentation will be collaborating again in 2024!

In the first part, we will announce the top 10 words that will represent 2024, along with their definitions (explanations of words as a Japanese dictionary would provide) of how they would be included in each dictionary. Enjoy the unique perspective of "New Words of the Year" carefully selected by dictionary professionals!

In the second part, members of "Japanese Dictionary Night" will appear. They will make comments on the words that were selected as "New Words of the Year" for 2024. What will happen? What will happen? Once again, they will be showing off hilarious slides and a variety of interesting projects to liven up the atmosphere.

In addition, we will be accepting interviews from media representatives at the selection presentation session.
