In 2020, he joined Shibuya Ward Office and launched the startup department. After working at the Japanese Consulate in San Francisco for eight and a half years, he returned to Japan in 2016 and served as an executive at a startup company before joining Komatsu in 2018, where he led the launch of a joint venture company that the company established with three major companies as vice president. In 2023, Shibuya Ward's startup department, "Shibuya Startup Support," grew to become the organization that has invited the most overseas startup companies in Japan, and in the same year, he founded the "Shibuya Startups Shareholder Company" together with major companies representing Shibuya.

He joined the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) in 1994. In 2000, he was seconded to the Planning and Research Division of the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy, Ministry of International Trade and Industry. He then returned to NEDO and worked in R&D project management and contract and inspection work, before being seconded to his current position in 2024.

Startup Support Division/Expo Co-Creation Business Promotion Division
After working at the Osaka City Urban Industry Promotion Center (currently the Osaka Industrial Bureau) where he was involved in the operation of Osaka Innovation Hub, he worked at Tsukurie Co., Ltd., where he was involved in the launch and operation of the startup support facility, Startup Hub Tokyo. After that, he worked at SHIBUYA SCRAMBLE SQUARE, Ltd., where he was involved in the opening preparations for SHIBUYA QWS and the operation of the community. In May 2020, he returned to the Osaka Industrial Bureau to work on startup support.
In addition, in July 2022, we will launch and operate the Digital Talent Co-Creation Federation, a general incorporated association, a platform for developing digital talent among junior and senior high school students.
