In January 2024, Ama Town in Shimane Prefecture, Yokoze Town in Saitama Prefecture, and Bandai Town in Fukushima Prefecture signed the "Three Towns Future Co-Creation Agreement" to take on the challenge of new municipal management that creates the future through mutual collaboration that maximizes the strengths of each municipality. Ama Town has promoted advanced population-related policies, Yokoze Town has established a framework for public-private partnerships, and Bandai Town has been an early promoter of municipal digital transformation, and has built up a track record. However, there are common issues in which each municipality has been unable to fully expand its efforts, and the securing of human resources necessary for transformation is an urgent need. The Three Towns Future Co-Creation Agreement will advance new challenges beyond municipalities, such as creating new value and acquiring and developing human resources. As part of this, the three towns will collaborate on a talk session on the theme of "co-creators"! In Ama Town, people from outside the area are involved in various ways as local leaders, such as side jobs within the area and studying abroad on the island, in Yokoze Town, challenges utilizing the public-private partnership proposal system and regional revitalization cooperation team (including internships), and in Bandai Town, regional revitalization cooperation team (including internships) and remote human resource recruitment. This time, we will hold a talk event with panelists such as the mayors and key town figures to introduce examples of leaders active in each town and how the three towns can be involved by forming an agreement and co-creating together! If you are interested in the three towns, relocating, parallel work, or how to get involved while being outside, please join us! ◆ Event overview ◆ Date and time: Sunday, February 9, 2025, 13:30-16:00 Location: SHIBUYA QWS Cost: Free Capacity: 50 people ◆ Timetable ◆ 13:00 Venue opens 13:30 Opening - Introduction to the three towns' future co-creation collaboration agreement 13:35 Talk session: "Creating town leaders with a vision of co-creation" 80 minutes - Introduction to the three towns' outlines and co-creation initiatives - Introduction to the local leaders supporting co-creation - How can local leaders supporting co-creation be active? - What the three towns want to co-create - Q&A 14:50 Break 15:00 Introduction to how to get involved with each town based on today's topic 15:30 Closing remarks Free talk and interaction 16:00 End of event ◆ Speakers ◆ Yamaguchi Yoshifumi, Secretary General of Ama Town Multiple Business Cooperative and General Manager of Adult Island Study Abroad, Shimamae Hometown Charm Foundation Yamaguchi Yoshifumi has worked in sales and planning positions at Recruit Co., Ltd. since 2006.
