"Taiwan Festa 2025", an outdoor event where you can enjoy Taiwanese food, culture, and music all at once, will be held at Yoyogi Park Event Square for three days from July 25th (Fri) to 27th (Sun), 2025. The event is organized by the Taiwan Festa Executive Committee.

Taiwan Festa started in 2016 with the aim of cultural exchange between Japan and Taiwan. It has expanded in scale every year and has become one of the largest Taiwanese events in Japan. This year, many visitors are expected to attend as a place where they can experience the "now" of Taiwan, which is always ranked high as a "destination to visit overseas" without leaving the city center.

Popular Taiwanese cuisine gathered together in a fantastical space lit by lanterns at night

The biggest attraction of the event is the authentic Taiwanese cuisine. In addition to standard dishes such as juicy fried chicken "Da Ji Pai", fragrant Lu Rou rice, and Xiao Long Bao, Taiwanese shaved ice with plenty of fruit, perfect for the hot summer, will also be served. It goes perfectly with Taiwanese beer, so food fans won't want to miss it.

There will also be many booths selling Taiwanese tea and other items shipped directly from Taiwan. Paper lanterns will be lit up in the evening, creating a magical atmosphere that will make you feel like you're at a Taiwanese night market while you shop.
