"What if the avant-garde of the 1960s was unleashed again, 60 years later?"
On May 11th of this year, a concert titled "Arts in Everyday 2025 — John Cage and Yoko Ono" was held at Hillside Plaza in Daikanyama Hillside Terrace. Footage from the concert will be screened at Theater Image Forum, a mecca for experimental and art films.
It is extremely unusual for the museum to screen a contemporary classical music concert as a "documentary film."
It will be a truly historic night.
On the day of the concert, the audience and the stage became one, and the tension and excitement are captured on video.

Masters of experimental music and avant-garde art: John Cage and Yoko Ono.
“What if the avant-garde of the 1960s were released again, sixty years later, now?”
On May 11 this year at “Hillside Plaza” inside Daikanyama Hillside Terrace, we presented the concert “Arts in Everyday 2025 — John Cage & Yoko Ono.” Its concert film will be screened at Theatre Image Forum, a sanctuary for experimental and art film.
The screening a contemporary classical concert explicitly as a “concert film” remains highly unusual.
On that night the audience and stage formed a single field. The tension and heat are imprinted in the images. Faces in the crowd are captured in detail, and the moments when the hall resonates as one are reconstructed on the screen.
