■ Guest Company Introductions
1. Tazen Co., Ltd.
Founded 430 years ago, this long-established company has supported the lives of people in Sendai with its traditional copper processing techniques. Currently, with its main business being renovation, the company is constantly taking on new challenges, from copper crafting workshops to overseas expansion into Paris, Taiwan, and Singapore.
Representative Director and President: Yoshi Tanaka

He joined Tazen as a copper craftsman in his teens, and after serving as vice president, he assumed his current position. He champions the concept of "craftsman-merchant," practicing a balance between craftsmanship and business management. He launched the "Akagane Project," centered around copper, and has been continuously initiating new businesses ranging from tourism and experiences to overseas expansion.
2. Datacom Co., Ltd.
This company, based in Sendai, develops and provides sales data analysis systems specifically for retailers nationwide, including supermarkets and drugstores. It boasts a market share of approximately 50% among the top 100 food supermarkets by annual sales. Starting in fiscal year 2024, the company is aiming for a "second founding period" and is challenging itself in new markets and business formats with a target of 10 billion yen in sales.
Director and General Manager of Corporate Planning Department, Hiroki Onodera

After working at a major bank and a major marketing company, he joined DataCom in 2023. He succeeded his father as president and became a director, leading the strengthening of the two-office system in Sendai and Tokyo, the active recruitment of foreign talent, and organizational reforms.
3. Endo Chain Co., Ltd.
They operate "E-Beans," a large mixed-use commercial building located in front of JR Sendai Station. Despite being a long-established company with 96 years of history, they have consistently been at the forefront of youth culture in each era, and are now known as a mecca of subculture in Sendai.
President and CEO: Taiki Endo

After graduating from Waseda University's School of Political Science and Economics, he joined a major general trading company and gained experience on secondment to a retail investment company. In August 2024, he took over the family business and became the fourth-generation president. While promoting data-driven facility management, such as visitor analysis utilizing pedestrian flow data, he continues to take on new challenges while inheriting the philosophy of his predecessors.
