The third installment of the "GODZILLA THE ART" art project commemorating the 70th anniversary of Godzilla's birth, "GODZILLA THE ART by PARCO vol.3", will be held from July 5th (Fri) to July 21st (Sun) at GALLERY X BY PARCO on the B1F of Shibuya PARCO.

Since the release of the first Godzilla film in 1954, a total of 38 Godzilla films have been produced and released, including 30 domestic films, 3 animated films, and 5 Hollywood versions. "GODZILLA THE ART" was launched last year as a project to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Godzilla's birth in 2024. The participating artists for this third installment, "GODZILLA THE ART by PARCO vol.3," are collage artist Kosuke Kawamura, who is active both in Japan and overseas, and collage artist Kensuke Koike, who is active mainly overseas. How will these two artists, who use the common technique of collage, express their interpretation of Godzilla? A Godzilla suit statue and diorama used in the Godzilla films will also be on special display. A special Godzilla figure commemorating the event will also be on sale.
