(FF)FAB Fashion DIALOGUE
Vol.1 ~The relationship between fashion and the body~
This is a talk event where the relationship between fashion and the body will be discussed from various perspectives.
We have invited Haru., Tsuno Seiran, and Fujishima Yoko to discuss self-expression and the state of the body in everyday life, and through the exchange of opinions among participants, we hope to discover new things.
The relationship between fashion and the body
We have been wearing clothes since we were born, and continue to wear clothes to this day. Whether we are commuting to school, taking a walk, hanging out with friends, or celebrating a special day, fashion is always a form of self-expression to others through our bodies, whether consciously or unconsciously, in any situation. In recent years, there are also more opportunities to express fashion through online media such as social media, without actually meeting people.
Fashion and the body are inseparably linked, and we are constantly reexamining our self-image in accordance with society, the environment, and our image. Sometimes we express ourselves through fashion that reflects our own body image, and other times we reflect on our own bodies through fashion. In this way, fashion and the body are always closely linked.
Therefore, this time we will be holding a cross-talk event where we can reconsider the relationship between fashion, which is always involved with our bodies and society, and discuss the topic from multiple perspectives.
Our guests are Haru., Tsuno Seiran, and Fujishima Yoko, all of whom are involved in fashion.
The speakers invited to this event are Haru, editor of HIGH(er) magazine and creative director of HUG, Seiran Tsuno, an artist, fashion designer and nurse, and Yoko Fujishima, a fashion researcher. Based on their respective activities and experiences, this will be a valuable opportunity to delve deeply into the relationship between fashion and the body from a social perspective and reconsider fashion and the body.
Through the speakers' perspectives, the discussion will explore how we see ourselves and how fashion influences our bodies and shapes our self-expression.
In the second half of the event, we will provide an opportunity for participants to exchange opinions with each other and with the speakers to gain new perspectives. This will be a forum for free dialogue, where we can share our thoughts on fashion and the body.
