The 18th Brazilian Festival & Latin 2025, where Latin American music, food, and culture come together, will be held for two days on July 19th (Sat) and 20th (Sun) at the Yoyogi Park Event Square in Tokyo. The event is organized by the Brazilian Chamber of Commerce in Japan.
The festival, which began in 2006, will celebrate its 18th anniversary this year. It is one of Tokyo's leading international cultural festivals, attracting over 100,000 visitors every year, and has become established as a place where you can experience the diverse charms of Brazil and Latin America with all your senses.

The music program on the main stage will start at 11:00 on both days. Under the summer sky of Shibuya, live performances of various genres such as samba, for-jo, Latin jazz, and funk will be held. Kazufumi Miyazawa, known for THE BOOM, will appear as the final act on the 19th (Sat) and will perform a hot stage.

The finale on the second day, Sunday the 20th, will be performed by Almandinho Macedo, a leading figure in the Brazilian music industry. His father is the founder of Trio Eletrico, and he is a singer-songwriter and guitarist who has won a Latin Grammy Award in 2021. It is sure to be a live performance that will have fans drooling.
Furthermore, the stage program will be packed with highlights, including a parade by teams competing in the Asakusa Samba Carnival, and demonstrations and experience workshops of Capoeira, a dance registered as an Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO.

The food and drink booths in the venue will be selling classic Brazilian dishes such as churrasco, feijoada, and saugadinho, as well as acai bowls and "acai caipirinhas," which have been gaining popularity in recent years. You can experience the diversity of South America through food.
In the sales area, products from Brazil and Latin America, such as apparel, miscellaneous goods, and cosmetics, will be on display. There will also be booths set up by companies and organizations that provide lifestyle support services for Brazilians in Japan.
In addition, in the outdoor shady area, there will be an inflatable playground for children called "FuaFua," and on Saturday there will be a police motorcycle exhibition, and on Sunday there will be an earthquake simulation vehicle and a firefighting motorcycle exhibition. There will also be a kick target event organized by FC Tokyo, which will be great for families.
For two days, you'll feel like you're traveling to Latin America while still in the city. The Brazilian festival is filled with passion and smiles, and the heat is sure to captivate visitors. Don't forget to take precautions against heatstroke when you go out.
