實驗音樂和前衛藝術大師約翰·凱奇和小野洋子。
「如果1960年代的前衛在60年後再次被釋放怎麽辦?」
今年5月11日,在代官山Hillside Terrace內的“Hillside Plaza”舉辦了演奏會《Arts in Everyday 2025-John Cage and Ono Yoko》。記錄的圖像將在實驗電影/藝術電影的神聖之地=劇院圖像論壇放映。
該館將現代音樂 (Contemporary classical music) 演奏會作為“記錄電影”上映實屬罕見。
這將是一個歷史性的夜晚。
在演奏會當天的舞臺上,客人和舞臺融為一體,那種緊張感和熱情刻在影像上。
每一位客人的表情都能捕捉到,會場整體共振的瞬間在屏幕上再現。

Arts in Everyday 2025 — John Cage & Yoko Ono
Watch an “concert film” of experimental music / avant-garde art at Japan’s hub for experimental cinema.
Special screening at Theatre Image Forum.
Masters of experimental music and avant-garde art: John Cage and Yoko Ono.
“What if the avant-garde of the 1960s were released again, sixty years later, now?”
On May 11 this year at “Hillside Plaza” inside Daikanyama Hillside Terrace, we presented the concert “Arts in Everyday 2025 — John Cage & Yoko Ono.” Its concert film will be screened at Theatre Image Forum, a sanctuary for experimental and art film.
The screening a contemporary classical concert explicitly as a “concert film” remains highly unusual.
On that night the audience and stage formed a single field. The tension and heat are imprinted in the images. Faces in the crowd are captured in detail, and the moments when the hall resonates as one are reconstructed on the screen.

Numbered tickets distributed from 18:25 / doors 18:45
Entry order by number blocks (1–20 → 21–40 → 41–60)
Please have your number ready by 18:35.

A talk with performers starts at 21:30 after the main program.
What is an End-Credit Name Ticket?
Your name will appear in the film’s end credits.
Names will be shown on the screen at the 11/19 screening.
They will also be included in the commercial Blu-ray.
In addition, the donor list in the archival booklet and the completed video data will be deposited with Sogetsu Foundation [Archives], the John Cage Trust, and Yoko Ono’s Studio One.
Your name will thus be recorded in historical archives through the film and donor register (subject to final approval by each institution).
DVDs are made to order.

*About Sogetsu Foundation [Archives] / John Cage Trust / Yoko Ono’s Studio One
• Sogetsu Foundation: The organization behind the Sogetsu School. The former Sogetsu Art Center (1958–71) operated as a hub for the Japanese avant-garde. At its first Japan visit, John Cage and David Tudor presented “0’00’’,” “Aria,” etc. Yoko Ono’s “Cut Piece” and other works were also performed there.
• John Cage Trust: A non-profit that collects, preserves, and makes available Cage’s works and materials. Based at Bard College since 2007, continuing archival and educational activities.
• Yoko Ono’s Studio One: Yoko Ono’s official office.
