[Shibuya Venue & Online Streaming] Why not start a local side business & local co-creation in Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture? Meetup event
A local side job project organized by Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture
Source: Peatix
"Involvement with the community, connection with the community, creation with the community"
The Dandan Multi-Career Group is a regional multi-career project run by Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture, that aims to connect companies in Matsuyama city facing various management challenges with people who want to utilize their skills and experience (hereinafter referred to as "members"), helping to solve corporate issues and providing diverse working styles for the people.
This event will introduce the activities of the Dandan Fukyoudan Group to date and this year's programs, targeted at company employees and freelancers who want to contribute to local businesses through side jobs and engage in co-creation activities in the community.
We will also be welcoming four members who participated in the Dandan Multi-Career Group last year as guests, and we will hear about the appeal of local multi-career opportunities and the value of regional co-creation that they have felt through their participation in the Dandan Multi-Career Group.
This is a meetup event recommended for those who are interested in side jobs or co-creation activities in the local area, who want to test out their skills and experience, who want to take on new challenges, and who want to be active in the local community.
There will also be time for interaction between guests and participants at the on-site venue. In addition, the on-site event will be streamed online in real time, so those who are unable to attend the on-site venue can enjoy it online.
In addition, for those who are unable to attend the event on the day, individual information sessions will be held in the afternoon and evening of Thursday, August 1st, so please check the information about the individual information sessions in the event details section below.
* "Local side jobs" refers to using your skills and experience to work in a place of your choice outside of your place of residence. The term "side jobs" does not refer to a "side job" whose main purpose is to earn a secondary income in addition to your main job, but rather refers to considering multiple jobs as your main job without dividing them into main and sub jobs.
What kind of initiative is the "Dandan Futsugyodan"?
The "Dandan" in Dandan Fukyoudan means "gradually" and "thank you" in Matsuyama dialect. The meaning behind this is that we want to develop this project into one in which the companies and members of the group in Matsuyama City come to understand each other "Dandan" and step up, and all the people involved say "thank you" to each other with smiles on their faces.
If you join the "Dandan Multi-Business Group"...
1. You can meet companies that are rooted in the local community and are full of passion!
2. You can connect with members with a variety of backgrounds, skills, and experiences!
3. In addition to working multiple jobs, you can also participate in co-creation activities such as local projects and communities!
4. With the support of the secretariat, even beginners can feel at ease in starting local side jobs and co-creation activities!
Recommended for those who:
・I want to use my skills and experience outside of my main job to contribute to local companies
・I want to discover new possibilities and growth opportunities for myself
I want to diversify my work style and career
・I want to have experiences that I can't get in my day job and meet people with various backgrounds.
・I want to find a connection in an area other than where I live now.
・I am from Ehime or Matsuyama, or have a connection to the area and would like to contribute
・I want to take on the challenge of regional revitalization and local revitalization, etc.
Would you like to join the Dandan Multi-Business Group?
The Dandan Futagyodan is not just a side job; it allows members to build deep relationships with the local community through initiatives such as fieldwork that exposes members to the charms of the region and the thoughts of local business owners, and through communities that foster horizontal connections between members.
Why not deepen your interactions with business managers in Matsuyama through the Dandan Fukgyodan's "Fukgyodan Matching Program" and contribute to solving problems and corporate growth? Also, why not form a project team with Matsuyama's businesses and members through the "Co-creation Project Program" to create new ideas and value? Furthermore, why not enliven Matsuyama with members who have various backgrounds, skills, and experiences through the "Community Program"?
* Through fieldwork, you will come into contact with the thoughts of local business managers (multiple career matching program)
Project teams will be formed with local companies and members to create new value (co-creation project program)
We will enliven Matsuyama with members with various backgrounds, skills and experiences (Community Program)

Joined Dandan Fukyoudan in 2023, and through fieldwork, etc., discovered many charms that I had not known before, and fell in love with Matsuyama even more. In order to convey its charms to even more people, I am challenging myself to work multiple jobs in a field I have no experience in.
