A very popular event! The 47th edition of Aquarium Producer Gen Nakamura's "Super Aquarium Night" has been decided!

This is Terry Ueda. The next CalCal event, "Gen Nakamura's Super Aquarium Night," will be held on Saturday, June 8th.
There are only 4 episodes left until the 50th episode of Super Aquarium Night is over. Because of that, I've come up with a more aggressive theme. "Surviving Aquariums, Tough Aquariums"

Nakamura: Just a year ago, we invited Honda Kimio and had a very tough talk about the future of zoos in Japan, right? But what about aquariums? I've been doing a lot of work recently that really makes me think about things like that. Especially local aquariums, I have to analyze that things are not going well if they continue like this, but there are ways to avoid that, so I thought I'd talk about it here, setting aside the business of being a consultant.

Terry: That's a very generous gesture! There are only glamorous stories about aquariums, and not many sad stories. But recently, a lot of new aquariums have opened.

Nakamura: Well, actually, I ended up giving birth to a new aquarium too (laughs).

Terry: Seriously! Where is it?!

Nakamura: At the entrance to the Akame Shijuhachitaki valley in Nabari city, Mie prefecture, an old aquarium facility called the Japan Salamander Center was renovated into the Akame Falls Aquarium.

Terry: Isn't Nabari just a short Kintetsu train ride away from my hometown? There's something like that in a place like that!

Nakamura: It was old and small, and the renovation costs were minimal, so it was the smallest and worst case scenario I've ever built, but I insist that it's "Japan's largest aquarium with a natural waterfall on the premises" (laughs). In fact, exhibits based on this kind of thinking are one way to revitalize local aquariums.
They then appointed a 22-year-old young man, who had been the sole zookeeper, as the director and marketed him as the ``youngest aquarium director'' of any permanent aquarium that requires a fee.

Terry: As expected, he's really shrewd when it comes to that sort of thing! A talented aquarium producer who uses weaknesses as an advantage! I'm impressed. So, of course, the guest for the second part will be...

Nakamura: Yes, we have invited Director Asada, who is 22 years old and the youngest director in Japan. Not only is he young, he is also a hard worker, has good taste, is bilingual, and is a musician, so he is a good-looking guy who I think the female guests who frequent Super Aquarium Night will not want to miss.

Terry: We're looking forward to the second guest. So, everyone, please come to Super Aquarium Night on June 8th with high expectations. Anyway, this popular event will end for the time being with four more sessions. We recommend this to regulars, of course, but also to those who haven't been in a while, and to those who haven't visited before, now is the perfect time to participate.
