■This year's Matatsuma celebrates its 110th anniversary!!
Actor and sculptor Jin Katagiri, Moso Kousakusho's Otohata Keiko, figure illustrator Dehara Yukinori, and after-school unrequited love fantasy inventor Taigar Lee will be hosting a comedy x craft event called "I've Made Something Useless Again" (commonly known as Matatsuma)!
On Sunday, September 29th, MataTsumama will celebrate its 10th anniversary!! And this year, both Yukinori Dehara and Taiga Lee will be turning 50! Together, they will celebrate the 110th anniversary! Let's all celebrate together!!

■The theme is "Lucky Charms" and we are looking for general participants as well!
To celebrate Mata-tsuma, Dehara Yukinori, and Taiga Lee, we are waiting for "trivial things" with the theme of "lucky charms"! We also welcome people who are new to making works!!
Why not give shape to that inspiration and present it to us?

■Jin Katagiri
Born in Saitama Prefecture in 1973. Graduated from Tama Art University.
Actor and sculptor. Currently active on TV and stage, mainly in dramas and radio. Recent appearances include TBS's "99.9-Criminal Lawyer-", Nippon Television's "Your Turn to Kill", NHK BS's "Kumokiri Nizaemon 6", and the stage play "Harold and Maude". In 1999, he began working as a sculptor alongside his acting career. In 2015, he held the "Katagiri Jin Absurd Art Clay Works Exhibition 'Giri Exhibition'" at AEON MALL Makuhari New City, and from 2016 at AEON MALLs nationwide. Over the course of four years, he has traveled to 18 cities, attracting a total of 78,000 visitors. In 2019, he held his first overseas solo exhibition, "Giri Exhibition Taiwan". In 2021, he will hold the "20th Anniversary of Clay Road: Katagiri Jin Creative Encyclopedia Exhibition" at Gallery AaMo in Tokyo Dome City.

■ Keiko Otohata
A delusional craftsman, president of Mousou Kousakusho Co., Ltd. He plans miscellaneous goods, produces original character figures (soft vinyl, 3D printing), and designs local characters such as "Toriineko." In recent years, he has also been focusing on capsule toys, and has been involved in over 40 projects to date. At the end of last year, he published his first picture book, "Abunai Nyan!", which is entirely made up of eraser stamps.
Representative goods: "Hokke case", "Ashi-kori", "Noah & Moses pouch", "Bearingma", "Resignation pass case", "Doggu dog", etc.
Representative capsule toys include "Divine Beast Bekos (Cerbecos)", "Yakitori-ing", and many more.

■ Taiga Lee (After-school unrequited love delusional inventor)
Taiga Lee was not popular at all during his junior high and high school years, so he was always daydreaming about love. He is an inventor who is putting those romantic fantasies into shape and presenting them to the public.
He has created over 200 pieces of work, and has held presentations and solo exhibitions. Since 2018, he has appeared as an inventor on the NHK Educational TV program "Shakin!". He has also been in charge of segments and planning for the program. In 2022, his "Voice Shower," which allows users to be bathed in voices, was recognized by Inovation and became a Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications certified work. In 2022, he will move his base of operations to Kochi Prefecture.

■Dehara Yukinori
Born in Katsuo, Kochi Prefecture in 1974, and raised on beer. Drinks 400 liters of beer a year, and creates 400 figures a year. An uncle clay maker active mainly in Tokyo and Kochi. While working on advertisements for NIKE, ASICS Europe, and Tower Records, he continues to exhibit his work as an artist around the world. He is also the creator of Kinoko no Yama character Kinoyama-san and Katsurahama Aquarium character Otodo-chan.
