〇 Profile of Ushio Fukasawa

Novelist. After working as a Japanese language instructor, she won the grand prize at Shinchosha's "R18 Literature Award for Women by Women" in 2012. The following year, she published "Hansarang Aisuru Hitobito" (People Who Love Hansarang), a series of short stories filled with the joys, sorrows, anger, sorrows, and happiness of a Korean family living in Japan, including the award-winning "Kinko no Auntie" (title changed to "Kinko no Tsubu Hito" in paperback). Since then, she has written novels that depict the difficulties of life for women and minorities, including "Chestnut Land." Her latest work is "Plum Blossoms Fall" (published by Asahi Shimbun Publications).

Profile of Shizuka Wada

Born in Chiba Prefecture in 1965 and raised in Shizuoka Prefecture.
When she was a child, she saw the "Chupiren" on TV, which scared her (that's how it was communicated), and thought that women's liberation was the work of scary people. After that, she had no involvement with liberation or feminism, and lived a hard life for over 50 years. When she saw #KuToo on Twitter, she thought, "I also have to wear pumps when I work part-time at a restaurant," and from then on, she gradually started to pick up feminist books. In 2023, she will publish "Politics in My Home, Thoughts on Living Alone in Peace of Mind after Learning about Feminism a Little Late in My 50s" (Sousosha). In addition, from September 2024, she will start a series in "Sekai" (Iwanami Shoten) about the lives of single middle-aged and elderly women.

〇Alteisia's profile

Born in Kobe. Writes on themes such as gender, feminism, and toxic parents. Gives many lectures and classes. Appears at gender talk events all over the country.
Her books include "How a woman can survive freely and happily in Hell Japan", "Life was so difficult I nearly died, so I tried a lot of things", "Dr. Tajima saved my life, so can I now talk about feminism!?", "For those who don't want to hurt themselves, but don't want to hurt others either", "Self-defense techniques using words to protect your heart from confusing words and dangerous people", "Discovering feminism made me want to live longer", "29 reasons why I'm staying married even though I'm on the verge of divorce", and many others.
