The "EdTech Year-End Party," which brings together people involved in the education and ICT fields, is returning for the first time in five years.

Anyone can participate - startups and ventures, companies operating education-related businesses, teachers and managers, local governments and government agencies who are promoting education using ICT, and anyone interested in this industry!

In previous years, the event has been a huge success, bringing together more than 50 diverse people, including startup and venture company executives, venture capitalists and individual investors, business managers and staff working in educational ICT at private companies, journalists following the industry, and people from government agencies and freelancers active in the education field.

Five years have passed since then, and the event was suspended for a while due to COVID-19. In the meantime, the deployment of one device per student and high-speed networks to schools, including the GIGA School Initiative, has progressed in Japan, and online and digital education and education and learning support services using smartphone apps have become truly common in the BtoC field. However, it has been difficult to hold an event where people from these industries can gather together across boundaries.

So the previous organizing committee members said, "This year is the year we really want to bring it back!" and so it is finally being revived.

The location is Shibuya Garden Space Dogenzaka, located in Dogenzaka, Shibuya Ward, Tokyo.

The event will be held on December 16th from 7pm and all payments must be made in advance.

Please note that it is the end of the year party season, and if you have to cancel on the day for various reasons, there is a very high possibility that you will not be able to get a refund, or you will only get a partial refund (such as the total amount of the all-you-can-drink fee), so if you have already applied, please make arrangements from now on so that you can arrive in Shibuya at 7pm on Monday, December 16th.
