Let's change things with bottom-up power! Let's think together about the future of diversity

Lean In Tokyo will hold an event to consider bottom-up activities to promote diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) within companies.

The event is divided into three parts!

In the first part of the talk session, we will welcome special guests Masako Moto, Executive Officer and General Manager of General Affairs and Human Resources at NTT DOCOMO, Inc., and Maki Saito, Co-founder of LEAN IN DOCOMO, NTT DOCOMO's bottom-up initiative, to talk about promoting DEI at NTT DOCOMO from the perspectives of both the HR department and bottom-up activities.

In the second part, we will hold a workshop where guests and participants can deepen their discussion and think about "DEI through the power of bottom-up approaches."

In the third part, we will have a networking session between the two guests and all the participants!

Let's think together with the participants about what impact bottom-up activities can have on promoting DEI in companies, based on case studies from each company and tips for implementation!

[Recommended for these people]

⚫ People involved in bottom-up activities related to DEI at their company
⚫ People who are aware of DEI issues and want to take action
⚫ People who want to take a step forward in their work or personal life
⚫Corporate personnel engaged in promoting DEI and women's participation in the workforce
⚫People who are interested in the terms diversity and gender
⚫For those who want to know more about LEAN IN & Lean In Tokyo

Through trial and error, LEAN IN DOCOMO has built up a track record over the past five years. We hope that you can take home some tips from their efforts on how to Lean In (take a step forward)* at your company to create an environment where everyone can work in their own way!

*Lean In means taking a step forward. It is a concept and movement born from the book "Lean In" by Sheryl Sandberg, former COO of Facebook (Meta).
