"Chateau Mercian Festival 2025 ~ Making Japan a World-renowned Wine-Making Destination ~" will be held on Friday, May 30th and Saturday, May 31st at SHIBUYA CAST Space & Garden (Shibuya Ward, Tokyo).

By holding this festival, we hope to convey the deliciousness and enjoyment of Japanese wine to customers who do not normally have any contact with it, and to further increase awareness of Japanese wine.
On the day, three Chateau Mercian wineries, Chateau Mercian Katsunuma Winery, Kikyogahara Winery, and Waniko Winery, will participate in the festival. In addition, there will be seminars by R Paysan Winery (Hanamaki City) and MK Farm Kobushi (Hanamaki City) in Iwate Prefecture, where Mercian has been conducting consulting services on grape cultivation and wine brewing since 2021, and sales of wines that have been provided through consulting services.

About the "Chateau Mercian Festival 2025 ~Making Japan a world-famous wine-producing region~"
1. Two startup wineries will be participating as guests
Two wineries in Iwate Prefecture that Mercian supports through its consulting business, R Paysan Winery and MK Farm Kobushi, will participate in the event and hold talk events and wine tastings and sales.

2. A wide variety of programs will be held (subject to change)
・Chateau Mercian 3 winery talk event
・Winemaker's recommended wines
・Mini seminar by young winemakers on how to make wine and how to choose wine
・Mini seminar on learning about SDGs through wine
・Sales of glasses with portable cases by Riedel Japan (RSN Japan Co., Ltd.), a long-established wine glass manufacturer

3. Three types of wine by the glass and delicious local food
Wines by the glass and bottle from Chateau Mercian and two startup wineries
・Providing delicious local food from Yamanashi Prefecture, where the Chateau Mercian winery is located, at food trucks and food corners

4. Four special seminars will be held (fees apply, advanced reservations required)
・A special seminar with the heads of three wineries, where you can compare the best Icon series wines!
