Synesthesia and home design
What is the future of sensory space as thought at Linn?
In today's world, where population decline and diversification are progressing, the question of what constitutes a "rich lifestyle and housing" is being asked anew. In response to this trend, a co-creation project has been launched in which companies, universities, and local governments are collaborating across fields to conceive and put into practice the next form of lifestyle and housing.
"SHIBUYA Co-Creation Lab for Living Innovation (Linn)" has been launched under the auspices of the SHIBUYA QWS Innovation Council (SQI Council).
We have invited Professor Minamizawa Kota of the Keio University Graduate School of Media Design, who is one of the theme owners of this lab, and Executive Fellow Yokota Yukinobu of i.school, to discuss the theme of "synesthesia and home design" and envision future possibilities and ways of putting it into practice.
