Nakatsu City, Oita Prefecture x JALPAK Regional Issue-solving Corporate Training Introduction Seminar
Hello, this is the Nakatsu Yabakei Tourism Association, which is working on sustainable tourism to solve local problems.

We will hold an information session on a training program for solving local (social) problems, set in Nakatsu City, Oita Prefecture, for personnel and training personnel in charge of new developments at companies. After participants understand the purpose and content of the training program at this seminar, we will hold a local orientation tour for three days and two nights starting September 24th.

Kazuhito Kitazume
Affiliation: JALPAK Corporation, New Business Planning Department, New Business Planning Promotion Group, General Manager
Born in Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture. Joined JALPAK Co., Ltd. in 2001 and has since worked in the travel industry in Europe, Hawaii, Okinawa, etc. Transferred to current department in 2024, engaged in business development and operation of business solution packages.

Hiroshi Mikumo
Affiliation: Nakatsu Yabakei Tourism Association, Representative of Mikumo Planning Office Co., Ltd., Representative of Mikumo Forestry, Director of Nakatsu Mirai Gijuku
Born in Yamakuni-cho, Nakatsu City, into a family that has been engaged in forestry for generations. In his 20s, he worked in hotels both in Japan and overseas as a hotel development manager for a house manufacturer. In his 30s, he returned to Oita Prefecture. He is currently working on "sustainable tourism," which combines local issues with tourism and training. In his free time, he is trying new businesses that use his family's forestry and mountain business.

Soichiro Saito
Affiliation: SB Foods Corporation Food Culture Future Research Institute
Joined the company in 2021. Initially assigned to work in sales for mass retailers. Proposals for promotional activities and shelf allocation for various products were made, and an industry perspective was cultivated. In April 2024, he was assigned to his current position at the Food Culture Future Research Institute. Going beyond the boundaries of existing businesses, he aims to explore knowledge with a medium- to long-term perspective and create new business models. He also manages a new business creation program within the company, working to foster future thinking.

Kazuo Kaneko Affiliation: Representative of Kaneko Kazuo Office. Regional brand consultant.
Born in Aichi Prefecture. After working in the apparel industry, he moved to Japan Research Institute, where he worked as a consultant for 25 years, providing regional revitalization consulting using marketing techniques. He left the company in 2012 and established the Kaneko Kazuo Office, where he continues to provide regional revitalization consulting. He is a member of the SHIBUYA QWS Commons.
