▼Event Overview
What do you like about Shibuya Ward?
Shibuya, where many people have visited, interacted, and created new cultures, is truly a city born from "human activity." Music, fashion, IT, startups... the activities of each era have given birth to new cultures and spread them to the world. So, what does the future hold for Shibuya as it continues to evolve?

At this event, we will consider questions such as "What will the future of urban communities be like?" and "What is sustainable urban development?" with speakers from across the government, businesses, and local organizations.
People who live in Shibuya Ward, people who work there, people who study there, and people who visit there for fun. Why not bring together each of our perspectives and work together to envision the future of Shibuya?
Your voice and ideas could be the first step in changing the future of this city.

▼What is OPEN SESAME talk?
This project is set in Shibuya and involves everyone searching for the key to opening up the future.
We will discuss the city's challenges and attractions in an open manner, and together we will paint a picture of a new Shibuya.

▼Speakers introduction

Yuki Hashimoto (Shibuya Ward Assembly Member)
Shibuya Ward Council Member/CEO of Tsugiste Co., Ltd.

As a Tokyo University student and idol, she was a member of the idol group "Kamen Joshi" and became the first female indie artist to reach number one on the Oricon charts. After retiring from idol activities, she entered politics with the aim of creating a society where "everyone can take on challenges." She is currently the youngest member of the Shibuya Ward Assembly and serves as the chairperson of the Ward Residents' Welfare Committee. In 2023, she founded Tsugiste Co., Ltd. to address "idol career and health issues." She is the mother of one child.

Rina Onishi (Tokyu Real Estate Co., Ltd.)

After graduating from Aoyama Gakuin University, he joined Tokyu Land Corporation in 2018. After working on administrative proposals for an integrated resort (IR), he participated in the launch of Tokyu Plaza Harajuku "Harakado", a complex facility in Shibuya. He was in charge of attracting "Kosugiyu" and produced the music video for "Wednesday Campanella" as part of the pre-opening promotion.
Starting in 2022, he will be responsible for launching the urban digital transformation project "SHIBUYA MABLs," which aims to rebuild the relationships between people and people, and between people and the city, set in Shibuya. He is working on designing serendipitous encounters in urban spaces and loose connections that transcend attributes.

Michio Nakamura (Chairman of the Hatagaya Nakacho Association, Shibuya Ward)

Born March 31, 1948 (age 77). He grew up in Hatagaya and spent his childhood in Yokohama, before returning to Hatagaya after the summer vacation of his fourth year of elementary school.
After completing his studies in 1970, he joined a foreign non-life insurance company. In March 2000, after 29 years and 9 months of service, he left the company early and established an insurance agency.
In April 2015, he became an officer of the Hatagaya Nakamachi Neighborhood Association. In 2020, he participated in the launch of the Sahapi Kitashibu Project Executive Committee.
In May 2024, he became chairman of the Hatagaya Nakamachi Neighborhood Association, a position he holds to this day.
We will work hard to build a community where people can see each other's faces and exchange greetings!
