◆What is SENSORS X?
"SENSORS" is a program that was broadcast from 2014 to 2019 with the concept of "detecting and spreading the sensibilities of a new era" and will be renewed in 2023, introducing the cutting edge of creative entertainment business.
Starting in 2024, we will be holding a publicly recorded event called "SENSORS X," with a set theme each time, in order to organically link events and broadcasting and not just disseminate information but also to co-create new value with the creators and innovators who will create the next generation.
The event will feature a talk session featuring leading figures in each theme field, and the session will be broadcast on "SENSORS" the following month.
◆Event Overview
This time the theme is "AI Drama" and "ARG".
We will be holding a talk session on these two themes, which SENSORS is focusing on as areas that will create new entertainment and lifestyles in 2026!
Part 1: AI-synthesized drama creates a new era of visual experience

Part 1 takes a look behind the scenes at the production of "TOKYO Shrine Maiden Ninja," a full-scale generative AI drama. Key people involved in the creative process of this work, which involved a large-scale synthesis of AI and live-action footage, discuss the current state of AI creativity. Miyagi Akihiro, an AI creative director active worldwide; Yoshida Makoto, who leads AI creative at CyberAgent's Kiwami AI Odaiba Studio; and Yamada Yuuki, a VFX supervisor at TREE Digital Studio who has worked on numerous films and video productions, will predict the rapidly accelerating new era of generative AI and creativity.
Akihiro Miyagi, CEO of Temperade Co., Ltd.
As a video producer, he is involved in planning and producing commercials, music videos, and other videos, and is deeply interested in the appeal and potential of AI.
He realized this and started working as an AI creator, working with production companies around the world.

Makoto Yoshida, AI Creative Producer, CyberAgent, Inc.
After working as a commercial producer at Tohokushinsha Co., Ltd., he joined CyberAgent in 2018. As a producer, he promotes the use of AI in virtual production shooting at the company's Goku AI Odaiba Studio, advertising production, and various other creative productions.
Yuuki Yamada, Managing Director, TREE Digital Studio Inc.
He joined Digital Garden (now TREE Digital Studio) as a CG designer in 2006. After working as a supervisor and producer, he was appointed director in 2023 and executive director in 2024.
He currently works as a CG producer/VFX supervisor on a wide range of projects, including TV commercials, movies, and brand videos, and has worked on numerous CG productions that utilize cutting-edge technologies such as 3DOOH and virtual production, going beyond the boundaries of traditional CG.
Kosuke Furuya, Chief AI Creator/AI Engineer, Nippon Television Network Corporation
Originally from Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture. After graduating from Ritsumeikan University Graduate School, he joined Nippon Television Network Corporation as a new graduate in 2024. Since joining the company, he has used data and AI to develop the system for "Akimoto Yasushi x AI Akimoto Yasushi ~ AKB48 New Song Battle" and served as the AI chief creator for "TOKYO Shrine Maiden Ninja." He is working to pioneer new forms of visual expression that combine technology and content.

Tsutomu Suzuki Drama Producer, Nippon Television Network Corporation
Originally from Kisarazu City, Chiba Prefecture. After working at a major commercial broadcasting station, he joined Nippon Television Network Corporation. In addition to receiving numerous advertising awards, he also won the Asia Short Drama Award last year. He has planned, written and produced many dramas across genres, countries and media. Recent works include the AI drama "TOKYO Shrine Maiden Ninja" starring Riko, "The Last Lesson" starring Yagi Yusei, "This Love is the Ideal Form" starring Takahashi Fumiya, "The Best Teacher: One Year Later, I Was Killed by My Student", and "The Best Student: The Last Dance with One Year Left to Live".
Part 2: What is "ARG," the transmedia entertainment genre that is making a comeback in the Reiwa era?

The second part of the event was a talk session with four people on the theme of "What is ARG, the transmedia entertainment that is making a comeback in the Reiwa era?": Shinnosuke Kakutani (puzzle creator), drikara (ARG creator/horror writer), Rintaro Iwasaki (ARG project leader at Nippon Television Network Corporation), and moderator Masaru Kiyoki (ARG engineer/CTO at Hobonichi Corporation).
ARGs (Alternate Reality Games) are a form of entertainment that invades the real world, where fiction invades the real world, immersing you as the player in the story. This article explores the current state and future of ARGs, a genre that is expected to grow beyond advertising, games, or movies.
Shinnosuke Kakutani, Puzzle Creator
Born in 1996, he graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Tokyo. While a student, he produced numerous puzzle-solving performances as the representative of the puzzle-solving production group AnotherVision. In 2019, he joined RIDDLER Inc. as a founding member. He currently serves as CCO at ESCAPE, which operates the puzzle-solving and escape game platform ESCAPE.ID. His representative works include "Tokyo Metro Co.,Ltd. Escape Game for the Movie 'Exit 8'" and "People's Calendar."
drikara ARG Creator / Horror Writer / SCP Author
While working in the game industry as an illustrator, he is also active on the creative website "SCP Foundation," winning two consecutive contests with his works "SCP-3055-JP" and "National Simultaneous Spiritual Sensibility Test." His work on the SCP Foundation led to his debut as a commercial author with "Haunted Property Appraiser Exam" for the ARG brand "The Fourth Boundary." He then served as executive producer for "Mail in Room 503," a joint brand between The Fourth Boundary and Nippon Television, "4x4 sect." His debut work, "The Seven Wonders of the Game Industry," won a special award in a mockumentary horror novel contest hosted by "Novema!", a novel submission site run by Starts Publishing. He is currently planning to release a collaboration between Starts Publishing and CafeGroup, combining novels and games, and is primarily active in the horror and mystery genres.
Rintaro Iwasaki, ARG Project Leader, Nippon Television Network Corporation
Born in 1993. Graduated from the Faculty of Science and Technology, Keio University. Joined Nippon Television Network Corporation in 2017. After working in terrestrial television program production and content distribution, he took a leave of absence in October 2022 using the personnel system to join a game venture aiming to combine live-action works with interaction. After gaining experience in consumer game development and music event business development, he returned to Nippon Television in June 2024. While working on program promotion, he also proposed and adopted an ARG project as a new business. He launched "4x4 sect." as a joint brand with the ARG brand "The Fourth Boundary" and produced the ARG "Postal Mail in Room 503," a collaboration with the film "About a Place in the Kinki Region."
Moderator
Masaru Kiyoki, ARG Engineer / CTO of Hobonichi Corporation
Born in Hyogo Prefecture in 1979. Completed a Master's course at the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, The University of Tokyo. Joined Nintendo Co., Ltd. in 2004. Since then, he has worked in the game industry, from platform development to game development, R&D, and new business development. He currently serves as CTO of Hobonichi Co., Ltd., where he continues to create new content that combines technology and ideas.
Fascinated by the potential of alternate reality games (ARG), he founded the Special Interest Group for Alternate Reality Games (SIG-ARG) at the NPO International Game Developers Association Japan (IGDA Japan) in 2009. He still calls himself an ARG engineer and works to promote and raise awareness of ARGs. His representative works in the ARG field include the 3D novel "bell," "#LiliaMystery," and the "ESCALOGUE series."
His publications include "Mathematics Drives Games! From Game Design to Artificial Intelligence" (Nihon Hyoronsha, co-authored with Yoichiro Miyake) and "ARG Guide 2025" (Elements Kobo, contributed under the name Epix). He is a research fellow at the Institute of Industrial Science, University of Tokyo.

This event will be held in the Scramble Hall within Shibuya QWS, a co-creation facility located on the 15th floor SHIBUYA SCRAMBLE SQUARE, and is co-sponsored by SHIBUYA QWS.
SHIBUYA QWS is a co-creation facility where diverse people can come together and interact to generate ideas and new businesses that lead to social value. Since its opening in November 2019, QWS has offered unique programs and supported over 300 startups and projects that are challenging themselves to create new social value that does not yet exist in the world. Some startups and projects have already implemented their ideas in society and received funding from multiple angel investors and venture capitalists.
