A special exhibition commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Ultraman series, "SHUWATCH with U," will begin on July 3rd at PARCO MUSEUM TOKYO on the 4th floor of Shibuya PARCO.

Since its first broadcast in 1966, "Ultraman" has been a beloved Japanese special effects hero both domestically and internationally. This exhibition commemorates the 60th anniversary of the series, and is curated by art gallery NANZUKA.

At the venue, 12 artists active both in Japan and abroad will create works from their unique perspectives, based on the themes of Ultraman's "visual image" and "spirituality." Through diverse expressions such as paintings and sculptures, the exhibition will unfold a space where memories of longing for heroes and monsters intersect with contemporary art.

The participating artists include 12 groups, such as French illustrator and artist Jean Jullien, Indonesian artist Roby Dwi Antono, Thai artist Pex Pitakpong, and Japanese artists Tetsuya Nakamura and Ryunosuke Okazaki. They will be exhibiting new works and related pieces featuring Ultraman and monsters as motifs.

The key visual features artwork by Vance Yuan, an artist who has garnered international attention for his graffiti-based style. Exhibition-exclusive merchandise will also be available for purchase at the venue.

Additionally, visitors will receive one of seven different exhibition commemorative tickets at random. Those who purchase all seven tickets will receive a complete set.

Opening hours are 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM (closing at 6:00 PM on the last day, with last entry 30 minutes before closing). Admission is 500 yen (free for elementary school children and younger). Until August 3rd.
