This event will offer hints for shaping your future career for students aspiring to a career in creative expression, and for working professionals exploring new ways of working that utilize their creativity.

Our guest will be Kanako Omachi, CEO of GEMS UNITED LLC. Ms. Omachi dedicated herself to classical ballet from a young age, mastering the art of "performance," before shifting her career to that of "business owner." Starting from scratch with no prior business experience, she has achieved independence and is now developing a wide range of businesses, leveraging the sensibilities she has cultivated.

In this rapidly changing era, we will explore how Ms. Omachi has navigated turning points in her life and integrated her "life plan" and "work." In addition to listening to her story, the session will also include workshops where participants can think about their own life designs.

Kanako Omagari
Representative of GEMS UNITED LLC
From a young age, she dedicated herself to classical ballet for 13 years, aiming to become a ballet dancer.
After graduating from high school, she studied abroad in Florence, Italy, where she was exposed to diverse values at art and language schools. After returning to Japan, she enrolled in a university in the Kanto region and became involved in a wide range of dance genres.
After graduating from university, I joined a major company in the food and beverage industry, but after a year I gave up on the service industry and in my second year I decided to pursue a career as a business owner and began preparing to become independent.
Starting with zero business experience, I learned from experienced business owners and became independent in 2020.
Currently, under the theme of "From Artist to Business Owner," she leverages her cultivated sensibilities to develop a wide range of businesses, primarily in retail, but also including sales outsourcing, creative business management, and support for young entrepreneurs. In 2025, she released a fragrance brand, and in February 2026, she opened a hot spring salon in Tokyo.
