The annual summer festival event, "Nananana Festival 2026 Shibuya Future Expo," will begin on July 7th at the future creation hub "100BANCH."

100BANCH is a multi-purpose facility opened by Panasonic on July 7, 2017, to commemorate the company's 100th anniversary. Based on the concept of "an experimental zone to enrich the world 100 years from now," it supports the creation of new value by the younger generation. This year's Nanana Festival, marking its 9th anniversary, will feature 30 projects selected for the facility's acceleration program, "GARAGE Program," under the theme of "Shibuya Future Expo - Creativity explodes in Shibuya once a year."

On July 7th, we will hold Conference Day, "Hello Future - Humans Only Conference 2026." With the advancement of generative AI enabling the rapid creation of images, music, programs, designs, and more, the conference aims to re-examine the meaning of "human creation" and will be conducted entirely in a dialogue format. Rather than sharing completed answers, participants will bring their expectations, concerns, and questions about the future and think about the future through dialogue.

The event will incorporate the concept of "Open Space Technology (OST)," a method in which participants propose topics they want to discuss, and people with similar interests gather to engage in dialogue. Approximately 30 project leaders active at 100BANCH are also expected to participate. The event will be held from 11:00 to 21:00 at the 3rd floor of 100BANCH. The participation fee is 7,000 yen for adults and 4,000 yen for students, including lunch and a social gathering.

From July 10th to 12th, a Demo Day will be held, featuring exhibitions, hands-on programs, workshops, and performances. The venues are the 2nd and 3rd floors of 100BANCH and Shibuya River Street Section B. Twenty-eight hands-on programs spanning various fields such as food, AI, welfare, entertainment, communication, environment, and manufacturing will be offered, providing enjoyment for both children and adults.

The exhibited programs include "Research Report Meeting of Icebreaker Institute be♭" which aims to shorten the distance between people, "A Recipe for Your Own Day Starting with the Weather" which turns the weather into a trigger for action, "Why not try talking to yourself in English??" which focuses on learning English, "Hello, KITSUAI" which allows you to experience indigo with all five senses, "Boundary Green Space - Moss x Public Property -" which combines moss and public property, "Who is this fruit? Let's try drinking Ghana's 'secret fruit'!" which introduces beverages made from unused fruits in Ghana, "'I'll be fine' is the most dangerous thing. - Fake Police Fraud Experience Lab -" which is an AI-powered fraud experience project, and "yulu" which allows you to experience crochet.

Other planned events include a project to experience the mathematics hidden in origami and crafts, an exhibition linking home cooking and memory, an experiment in automatic subtitle generation, a future shopping experience that eliminates food constraints, a project to re-evaluate the value of vacant houses through the history of the items stored inside, and the "NEW Hachiko" project, which incorporates handcrafted items from all 47 prefectures into sneakers.

The facility has so far selected and supported 404 projects out of a total of approximately 1,220 applications. During the event, the facility will widely publicize the future-oriented experiments being conducted daily, creating a platform to lay the groundwork for their social implementation.

The event will be held from 11:00 to 21:00 on July 7th, from 12:00 to 20:00 on July 10th and 11th, and from 12:00 to 18:00 on July 12th. No reservation is required for Demo Day, and admission is free.
