"GMO Shibuya Entertainment Festival 2026" to be held at Yoyogi Park, featuring free music, comedy, enka songs, and Bon Odori dance.

The "GMO Shibuya Entertainment Festival 2026" will be held over two days, July 11th and 12th, centered around Yoyogi Park. This urban entertainment festival, spearheaded by the Japan Music Enterprises Association (JAME), in collaboration with Shibuya Ward and the Tokyu Group, will feature a diverse program including music, comedy, enka/kayokyoku (traditional Japanese ballads), Bon Odori (traditional Japanese dance), and street performances. Admission to each performance is free.

Prior to the opening, an opening ceremony will be held at the Yoyogi Park Outdoor Stage from 10:30 a.m. on July 11th. Attendees will include Masatomo Takifuji, Chairman of the Japan Music Business Association; Ken Hasebe, Mayor of Shibuya Ward; Takashi Yamakawa, Executive Officer and General Manager of the Culture and Entertainment Business Division at Tokyu Corporation; and Makoto Hashiguchi, Senior Managing Executive Officer and CBO of GMO Internet Group. Performers such as Ogiyahagi, Rina Chinen, Razor Ramon RG, CANDY TUNE, SHOW-WA, and athletes Hayato Imaeda and Yudai Shimazu from the GMO Internet Group Track and Field Club will also participate. The ceremony will be emceed by Moeka Amemiya.

The outdoor stage will host "JAME Entertainment Stage" by JAME. The stage will feature a diverse lineup of artists, from established stars active in television and live music to up-and-coming talents, encompassing pop, J-pop, idols, and comedy. On the 11th, from 11:25 AM to 3:30 PM, performances will include Karen Aoki, Maaya Takeda, Magical Punchline, Machineguns, Ore Tomoda, Sasurai Rabby, and Sentinel. On the 12th, from 11:00 AM to 4:30 PM, performances will include Rocchi, Westland, Mama Tart, Moguraider, KAWII LAB. MATE, Mai Koseki, and MORE STAR.

Also on the outdoor stage, the "JAME ENKA-KAYO LIVE" will be held from 4:30 PM on both days. This special stage will showcase the charm of enka and kayokyoku, which are loved across generations, and will feature a total of 25 groups of singers belonging to the Japan Music Publishers Association. On the 11th, performers will include Isao Bito, Madoka Oishi, Yamato Suruga, Mizuki Hayama, Soichi Futami, Shin Aoyama, Namito Harada, SHOW-WA, and others, while on the 12th, performers will include Junko Akimoto, Misaki Iwasa, Konomi Mori, Yuki Matsusaka, Ayao, Platinum Boys, Ruka Mochizuki, Aimi Tanaka, MATSURI, and others.

In the evening, the "JAME Bon Odori" will be held on Keyaki Street in Yoyogi Park. This event, which was well-received last year, will be scaled up and held over two days. On the 11th, from 6:15 PM to 8:30 PM, Razor Ramon RG, Madoka Oishi, Yamato Suruga, SHOW-WA, and others will perform. As dancers, student teams from Tokyo School of Music Shibuya and Tokyo Dance, Acting & Performing Arts College, as well as "Hanasho Mai," which won the top prize and the Tokyo Governor's Award at the Bon Odori competition, will be cooperating. On the 12th, from 6:15 PM, Misaki Iwasa, Konomi Mori, Yuki Matsusaka, Miyuki Kadomatsu, MATSURI, and others will perform, and from 7:30 PM, Naomichi Hanazono will take the stage.

Tokyu's "FROM STREET PROJECT" will collaborate with the festival to host "Shibuya Street Live at GMO Shibuya Entertainment Festival 2026." A total of 39 independent artists will perform over two days at four venues: the Yoyogi Park BE STAGE, the Keyaki Namiki tent booths on both the Shibuya and Harajuku sides, and the outdoor stage. Performers will include Beverly, Kafune (winner of the Grand Prix at "Shibuya no Uta 2025"), RIKU (runner-up), Kaion, and Manami Noda, who has a track record of collaborations with dramas and anime.

"GMO Shibuya Entertainment Festival 2026" is a festival that will feature entertainment, food, fashion, and more that can be enjoyed by people of all ages, using Shibuya's representative live music venues, multi-purpose facilities, and parks as its stage. The organizers hope to use the entire city as a stage to broadcast diverse content and contribute to creating a lively atmosphere in Shibuya and revitalizing the local community.
