~Unveiling the full scope of "Future Co-creation Space," a new next-generation learning environment launched by Shibuya Ward~
In schools, there is a growing emphasis on the importance of connecting learning with businesses in order to link it to society.
Amidst these circumstances, Tokyu Corporation and the specified non-profit organization VIVITA JAPAN have begun coordinating and operating the "Future Co-creation Space" to be newly established within the temporary school building "Aoyama Campus," which is scheduled to open in September 2025, in conjunction with the rebuilding and relocation of public elementary and junior high schools in Shibuya Ward, since September.
The "Future Co-creation Space" is a pioneering initiative in Japanese public schools, creating a space for next-generation learning. Equipped with 3D printers and other equipment that enables creative activities, as well as the latest technological equipment, it provides collaborative learning opportunities in partnership with local businesses. Through this collaborative education, it aims to cultivate the creativity, inquisitiveness, and collaborative skills of students, and to nurture the human resources needed in the coming age of AI.
Companies are now located within the school. We'll hear from Maya Kamihigashi, who is in charge of this new and exciting challenge!
Date and Time: October 4th (Sunday), 14:00-17:00
