"Shurakuza" to be held in Yoyogi Park; Minyo Crusaders, T-jiro's and others to perform.

A "hometown in the city" that appears for only two days.

The experiential music festival "Shurakuza Collective Sounds & Cultures" will be held on October 24th and 25th at the Yoyogi Park Outdoor Stage.

This event is being held as part of the outdoor stage program for "Earth Garden 'Autumn' 2026," an outdoor event themed around the environment, nature, and lifestyle. Based on the concept of "a place to encounter the world and sound as just 'human beings'," it will create a "village (settlement)" in Yoyogi Park for just two days. The aim is to create a space where visitors can share the same time together through music and space, free from the titles and attributes they wear in their daily lives, such as occupation, age, and gender.

From folk songs to electronic instruments, music transcends genres.

More than 10 artists are scheduled to perform on the outdoor stage over the two days. On the 24th, performers will include "Oni no Migiude," known for his unique sound using discarded home appliances, Fuki Kitamura, "Taikuh Jikang," which incorporates Indonesian gamelan music, "CHO CO PA CO CHO CO QUIN QUIN," which crosses genres such as folk music and electronic music, and "Min'yo Crusaders," which fuses Japanese folk songs with Latin music.

On the 25th, Yuma Abe, known for his work with "never young beach," will appear with his band, and "ELECTRONICOS FANTASTICOS!", a project centered around Eiji Wada that revives old home appliances as new electronic instruments, as well as Summer Eye, T-jiro's, and Nakanishi Lemon & Suzume no Tears will also perform live. Additional performers will be announced in the future.

In addition to live music performances, the event will also focus on creating a unique venue space. The architecture and production will involve Jiro Endo, who has worked on stage construction and lighting design for festivals both domestically and internationally, including Thailand's outdoor festival "Wanderfruit," and ZERO ACTION ARCHITECT, who have worked on stage construction for events such as "Hashinoshita World Music Festival" and "FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL." The aim is to create a space where attendees not only enjoy the music but also become an integral part of the venue's landscape.
