Yabuuchi Satoshi is one of Japan's leading sculptors, known for creating "Sento-kun."
Based on the traditional Japanese view of nature, he expresses invisible and mysterious energy in the character of a "child." The character's cute, lively expression and humorous movements will warm the hearts of viewers and bring a smile to their faces.

Yabuuchi, who served as vice president of Tokyo University of the Arts and is currently director of the Nara Prefectural Museum of Art, has been involved in the restoration and restoration of Buddhist statues for many years, and has made a profound contribution to the art world with his advanced skills and knowledge. His woodcarvings, based on his experience, are made using the traditional technique of yosegi-zukuri, lacquer, and Japanese painting pigments. You can also feel the full essence of his work in his bronze works, which are cast from his woodcarvings.

This exhibition will be themed on the Japanese people's inherent strength, which comes from the wisdom and vitality passed down through the generations, "Yamato Chikara," and will feature a new bronze sculpture with a sun motif, featuring an impressive energetic figure beating a drum.
