X-HEMISTRY CEO Shingai will hold his first report session after returning from a visit to "IFA2024", which was held in Germany for five days from September 6th to 10th, 2024.

Why is IFA attracting so much attention right now, especially with regards to smart home appliances and smart homes? What are the key points to look out for at this year's IFA? This is a report session where three creators of the smart home chaos map will have a frank discussion. You might even get to hear some behind-the-scenes stories about the creation of the chaos map!

What is IFA2024?

This is a historic exhibition celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, and in addition to exhibiting the latest technology, it is also an exhibition specializing in home appliances. In recent years, the focus has been on smart home solutions, smart home appliances, and IoT exhibits. As well as CES, which is held in Las Vegas every January, our company has been visiting IFA every year for about 10 years, and providing the latest smart home information to everyone.

・Isao Nagashima
Secretary General of LIVING TECH Association/Director of CVC Headquarters, Renovel Co., Ltd.

In 2016, he joined Renoberu Co., Ltd., a company that develops home renovation business with the keyword "architecture x IT". After working in alliances and sales planning, he has been in charge of material procurement and smart homes since 2019. In the same year, he was appointed Secretary General of the LIVING TECH Association, a general incorporated association that aims to popularize "living x technology" by bringing together housing developers, manufacturers, and IoT-related businesses with the mission of "enriching people's lives with technology." He has been involved in its management since its establishment.

Life Tech Coordinator

She is currently working as a Project Accelerator at PLAID Inc., whose mission is to maximize people's value through data. Personally, she promotes smarter lifestyles. As a life tech coordinator, she considers combinations of simple and practical technologies that are discovered in everyday life, and disseminates information through her blog "Smart Life Recipes." She is also a certified "Smart Master," who offers lifestyle suggestions based on a wide range of knowledge, from home performance and home appliances to energy management. She is a working mother of two children.

He has been working in the smart home industry since 2013 and has extensive knowledge of domestic and international industry trends and technologies. He supports Japanese companies in the consideration, planning, development, and launch of new smart home businesses. After working at Intuit Co., Ltd. (now Yayoi Co., Ltd.), @NetHome Co., Ltd. (now J:COM Co., Ltd.), Sigma Systems Japan Co., Ltd. (withdrew from Japan due to parent company acquisition, etc.), It's Communications Co., Ltd., Connected Design Co., Ltd., and Accel Lab Co., Ltd., he founded X-HEMISTRY Co., Ltd. in 2019.
