SHIBUYA SCRAMBLE SQUARE observation deck "SHIBUYA SKY" will be hosting a summer festival event unique to Shibuya, "Tenkuu no Natsu Matsuri" (Summer Festival in the Sky) from July 1st to 20th.

Enjoy the best of a summer festival at 229m above the ground! The main event is the Bon Odori dance "ROOFTOP Bon Odori." Get excited with Japanese drums, dancing, and the Shibuya Scramble Ondo!

You can also enjoy the fantastic lantern corridor "Sky Lantern Corridor" and stargazing during Tanabata.
Come dressed in a yukata and create special summer festival memories!

1. Main event: ROOFTOP Bon Odori
◦ Dates: July 13th and 20th
◦Time: Part 1: 18:15-19:15, Part 2: 19:45-20:45
◦Contents: Japan's first professional wadaiko group "Sukeroku Taiko" and "D-mc NEXT", a group of alumni from the dance circle "D-mc" will perform. The crossing lights that illuminate the sky and the floor lights will be linked to the rhythm of the Bon Odori dance, creating a special performance with a sense of unity. This year, "Shibuya Scramble Ondo" will also be announced!

2. Fantastic indoor decoration: Sky Lantern Corridor

Location: Indoor observation gallery "SKY GALLERY"
◦Contents:
The sky-blue lanterns match the Shibuya nightscape, creating a Japanese summer scene. A "tanzaku tree" will be set up to collect wishes from people all over the world. The tanzaku will be donated to Konno Hachimangu Shrine at a later date and burned.

3. Stargazing Event: TANABATA NIGHT at SHIBUYA

Content: A tour plan in collaboration with the Sumo Planetarium Shibuya.

After the special planetarium viewing, you can enjoy stargazing at the Tanabata sky at SHIBUYA SKY with a commentary by a starry sky commentator from Cosmo Planetarium Shibuya. The round-trip ticket is 3,000 yen (tax included) per person.
