SHIBUYA CAST SCHOOL 1st Craft Beer Seminar" will be held from April to June 2025, and participants will try their hand at brewing their own original beer at SHIBUYA CAST. The finished canned beer will be unveiled around September.

■ 1st session: "Learn how to enjoy craft beer from the brewers" Speaker: Sora Satoguchi (Satobushi Bashamichi)

Held on Tuesday, April 8th from 19:30-20:30!

SCHOOL 1st Craft Beer Seminar] is a course to experience, learn, and connect with new "ideas" and "values" together with your friends in SHIBUYA CAST. In the first session, we will welcome Mr. Sora Satoguchi, the brewer of the craft beer brewery "Satobushi Bashamichi," who will be in charge of brewing our original beer, as a lecturer to learn about the "basics of craft beer. The content of the course is designed to be enjoyable for craft beer beginners, including the appeal of beer and how to enjoy it. Visitors can also enjoy workshops where they can get to know the raw materials, such as malt tasting and hop aroma experience.

~ Village Warrior Bashamichi ~

"Sato Bushi Bashamichi" is a craft beer brewery in Yokohama that renovated a former raw silk inspection station. Founded in 2014 in Nozawa Onsen Village, Nagano Prefecture, "Sato Bushi" launched its new base in 2022. In addition to brewing beer, the brewery also produces spirits and liqueurs using cutting-edge distillation technology, and is also working to reduce food waste by developing experimental recipes and using upcycled ingredients.

The four-part course will not only teach you the basics of beer brewing, but will also allow you to deepen your knowledge from multiple perspectives, such as the connection between craft beer and the city, and the concept of label design. In addition, the course content is designed to be enjoyable even for those who do not drink beer, and to provide new ideas through craft beer and to meet people with diverse backgrounds, so please feel free to join us if you are interested! In addition, a social gathering will be held in the second half of each course, providing a valuable opportunity to deepen your interactions with the various people involved with SHIBUYA CAST. (Non-alcoholic beverages and soft drinks will also be available.)
